Feathering This simple effect is used by novices to graphic design, mainly to show the skills they have, or in this case have not. This technique is very poor design

A nicer technique A cleaner looking way to present this image, would be leave it intact and just use some subtle emphasis. In this image we use CCS code and added a little padding to keep the image clean and professionally presentable. background-color: #000000; border: 1px solid #333333; padding: 6px; margin: 3px;

Jigglies A good graphic artist should know what technique to use when using images. Jiggles are what you get when you don't know what format to use when using an image and you simply use what you do know, which in this case ruins the effect of the image by 100% In this case, unless the image is set on the same background as is used in the image, it will not look professional.

A nicer look A good designer will always make your images look as best as he/she can make them. Keep in mind, that the images can only look as good as the way they are delivered to the design company. We can retouch and manipulate them, but we cannot work miracles. No matter what color the background is, the designer will always optimize the image to suit.

Basic Flash Many people will tell you they can use flash. However when you see logos and art that looks similar to the flash here, then it was probably made in under 10 seconds with no skill set involved.

Complex Flash Flash should NEVER take away the look of your site or change the purpose of your web site. It should be used only as an emphasis to something and in the case of the CryoFactor web site, we are a design firm, so showing our work is paramount in making you interested in our skill set. This example logo took our team over 3 hours to construct.
